Meet the Team
Orlette holds a B.A. in film TV, radio and multimedia from UCLA. She is originally from Mexico City where she was an independent producer working in film and theater. Orlette’s work experience includes thousands of commercials, feature-length productions, and shorts, giving her thorough understanding of the needs of a campaign and the casting process. She has an enormous range of contacts in the entertainment industry with agents, talent managers, publicists and record labels with whom she has had extensive experience.
A Mexico City native, he attended the University of Texas where he earned BS in Radio, TV, and Film. Later he obtained a JD from the Abraham Lincoln School of Law. In Mexico Conrad worked as an editor and producer, for Televisa and several production companies. Conrad is also a musician and composer. He is also a language translator, simultaneous interpreter for captioned features, legal texts, and commercial copy. He has been a member of Mambo Casting since 2005.
Ricardo Núñez Román
Ricardo Núñez Román was born in Oaxaca Mexico. He plays 7 Musical insturments. He received his Bachelor’s of Art in Communications and Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute, IPN, where he specialized in acoustics and worked in post-production for Televisa. He is the founder of World Post Studios, and has participated in dozens of movies and TV series in areas of post production, as an editor, audio designer, music composer, colorist, producer, artist of Foley, DP and re-recording mixer.
He has directed dubbing for more than eighty films, including films by John Woo, Red Cliff and Tomas Alfredson’s Let the Right One In. He directed the Spanish voices for PBS kids series Noah Comprende. His extensive technical knowledge in various areas of the production and post production led him to direct, produce and post produce his first documentary feature film Alma de Maiz.
Born and raised in Mexico City. Vanessa graduated from the bachelors program for Marketing and Advertising. Worked in Cervecería Modelo for two and a half years in charge of Strategic Niches of Market in Mexico City. At 21 she was the Marketing Manager for Grupo Azor. In 2005 came to Los Angeles and became and actress. Vanessa has appeared in over a dozen commercials. Now, with experience in both sides of the camera Vanessa is a proud member of the Mambo Team.
Maria was born and raised in Mexico City. She then moved to Boston, where she got her B.A in Acting from Emerson College. A storyteller, that acts, writes, and directs (and often simply tells stories to friends or strangers), Maria has found casting to be an exhilarating component of the process of bringing a story to life, which is why she loves being a part of the Mambo Team.
Isabel was introduced to the world of film and television at a very early age by her father, Antonio Menchaca, producer of television in Chile and USA for more than 30 years.
She moved to Mexico to work as a casting director in collaboration with film director Alejandro González, with whom she was lucky to learn and work hand in hand in his films. Their first job together was the film, "Regresa," which was her first mainstream film. Other work include "Chiapas, the Heart of Coffee,""El Cielo En Tu Mirada," "Alicia en el País de María;" & director Roberto Girault’s "Los Árboles Mueren de Pie." During the casting of Roberto Girault’s movie, Isabel worked with talented producer Francisco González Compean and writer-producer Olivia Nuñez.
